Despite my lack of updates, I HAVE been drawing. A lot. In fact, I reserve another post for another series of drawings!

So, uh, here are some doodles from when I was trying to help Noir design Horus:



Neither of those are the final designs. But, btw, Horus the character belongs to Noir.

Talking about helping Noir design, here's another luvly guy. Dreadlocks are officially fun to draw.

I doodled this in the airport. So it's horrible. ._. I'm still posting it. Oh yes, I got a haircut. I can't draw it!


On the left, two people in class today. Including my friend on who Son'ra is based = ) The red thingy? It's the imprint of this totally "rad" skull and arrow design thing I did on my hand in math class. So... I'll get around to posting a photo of it at some point.

Now we get into more WWP character design!


I actually don't like these drawings. I don't. At the top are Citlali and Horus... and I don't like either of them. I don't like dream-matter Son'ra in the center... and I don't like these sketches of the De la Costa twins, which are my new characters. They will be fun. But. I didn't draw them well. Uwah!

I have to go study for exams now. Ciao.

Since I've been drawing so many kid versions lately, I started making a line up after BloodandBones suggested a WW Pre-school. Now that I think about it, wouldn't it be fun if in Salad Days, like the genderbent chapter, there is a "turned into a kid by a spell!" chapter? XD That would be cuuuute and insanely fun. I'm going to do a group drawing of these kids later!

So here is the line up!

Kid Rua, Kid Jaymi, Kid Kaiser, Kid Alex, Kid Son'ra, Kid Sal, Kid Nath, Kid Citlali, Kid Sek, Kid Calli, Kid de la Costa twins. = D I drew Calli because I hadn't drawn anything for Koyo yet and she deserves better, but I wish it had turned out better : / The de la Costa twins are new, never before seen characters of mine, and you will hopefully love them as much as I am beginning to > D

I loathe how Kid Nath looks. Why is one of my fave characters coming out wrong? Probably because I am sick as heeeeeeeeell, help me!

The first half, to the left, was done on the last of March, but I didn't feel like uploading it just yet. The page felt too empty. We find a sick Citlali since I felt sick, and since I usually identify with Cit... it made sense. Up to a point. That should hopefully explain her expression and slight blush on cheeks and nose... apart from the fact that fire tends to randomly sprout and move when she's sick and sneezing. Actually, I imagine a Quetzalcoatl would rarely get sick; when they are really exhausted and their body defenses are low, I suppose, and when they are inexperienced and something is wrong with the world's balance : D Hardy things, Gods. Additionally, to the right are two mini scenes, extrapolated from the ongoing rp with Anon. Third, I practiced snakes again, trying to make a Quetzalcoatl, and I like this far more! I actually used reference this time, so that explains why the snake head is semi-decent.

To the right, what I did today: my character Janet with a guilty Nath. Mostly, I just wanted to see the difference in body build that one intimidating bodyguard lioness would have versus... frailer, human Nath. Nath looks way too pretty here. I want. XD Those light lines on Janet's face? It's because she can take on a "stone form", so stone sometimes flakes off or similar. Above, I have a mini drawing to compare the scale of snake Cit and a human being. I think she's slightly too large here XD

Aah, then I wanted cuteness and started drawing kid versions of everbody. Don't comment on the first kiddy CitNath, it is horrible, it failed, I don't want to look at it. Kiddie Son'ra looks cute though, = ) I like her hairstyle. Kiddie Cit, and then, a cute, wee, innocent kiddie Rua. Lower down to the right, is a kiddie Jaymi, and I love this pic even though she looks to nice > D She's supposed to be a sly rude kid, but I liked that pose and... awwww, I want to hug her.

I think I have enough decent doodles to choose from them and do a Spam Dump of coloured ones in my dA. Look forwards to that!

All but the last one were done in school.

I like that cute little couple on the right hand side of the sketchbook. See, those two are adorweirble and cute too boot = w = Kaiser belongs to Noir-Cafe, while Alex belongs to Shaide. Lookit them, aren't they cute with Alex' shapechanging his hair into... a bird? XD again, Kaiser and Alex = teh cuteness.

Because of them, I drew an overprotective Citlali on the left. She feels like a mentor figure to these kids, and is always full on "Big Sister Mode" with them. It also means that if you hurt them, she will kick your arse out of the country, at least. I don't like her pose too much, but I did it very spontaneously with no idea of where I was going. I quite like it though = 3

Bottom left corner: Rua raiding underwear. Too bad that's Citlali's bra he's holding. I had this idea because of a conversation Rua's creator and I had last night. Well, several, actually. Rua belongs to BloodandBones = D

Finally... at the bottom right... it's just me cuz I GOT INTO MY TOP CHOICE COLLEGE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

A bunch of sketches/doodles after missing a few days! Sorry, things just weren't working out, and I have a huge amount of homework to prepare for IB Exams. Mayhem. Particularly for Art Class.

If you visit my deviantART, you will probably find a collaboration I did with SnowWolfRika on iScribble, based on a weird dream set in a Post Apocalyptic world. The gal in red and with insane bells on the left here is supposed to be me. I tried drawing "me" again recently-ish, and hate it, but it's still here:

The idea of bells is amazing and all, but I wasn't able to pull it off. I like the collaboration pic way, way more!

Next up, we have a few doodles I did with one of the latest scenes from my rps with Anon:

I swear these rps inspire me too much or just haunt my mind too much XD So by the numbers!
1. Actually, I don't want to explain, let's just put it as a very bad scene from the rp. Those are Citlali, Nathaniel, and Sal, btw.
2. This is a failed attempt at drawing the inkmass of inkmonsters swamping Citlali.
3. I just did this for fun. I needed to draw something in Spanish class.
4. Feral! Citlali's bloody, torn smile. It's meant to be creepy. Yes, she's meant to be torn and scarred.
5. Look, a snake thing! Ignore the weird semi-chibi face thing, and look at the serpent! Spoiler: It has something to do with Citlali's family necklace.
6. The return of the Anon fungi, only this time it sucks.
7. Only Anon will get this. Hopefully.
8. Woah, you actually found #8? It's basically a crappy sketch at the necklace. Ignore it.
9. I drew Sal's "WTF" face. Or tried to. It was fun
10. Anon complained that I hate Sal too much. I told her I love him, but that I like seeing him taken down a notch, or somesuch. Anon said Sal needs more love. We are both of the impression that if Anon were to hug Sal, he'd rip her arms off.

Hallo! I bring today a collab with my friend detripascorazon , who also has a sketch/art blog now. Obvio, detripasdecorazon is far more talented than I am, but we have fun together. We did this in Español after we finished a stupid essay. Guess which one is hers, and which one is mine?



All those in red are definitely mine. The stoned Llama/Burro was done by her, as well as the Llama-Pie (Llama-Foot). I added to said Llapie with red, made him more... refinado. XD Random Fungi thing based on the ones that Anon inspired the other day, random sun in the corner, and some attempts at snakes with feathers. Oh, see that strange elephant/catterpillar at the top? That was mine, with additions done by detripascorazon . We made up that creature along with Patrick while reminiscing in this same class how drunk and idiotic we acted once at P's house, jajajaja. It is the ORUFANTE, y temanlo, maldita sea!

At the far left I started by trying to draw a genderbent Sonora... and failed. Then I got bored
Then I drew v. quickly the iDied group. You guys, you rock! I love you! I'm sorry nobody looks like themself, but I was trying out a new style and... and it failed. Ah well, it's relatively cute. I'm calling that pose the protective Sammi huddle, cuz the rest of us are all kind of like overprotective of her. : D 
Finally, I drew myself and my friends here. Today they stopped us for a photo in skl, (weird situation) so I guess we must have looked awesome - and tried drawing us kind of inspired by the anime style of that "Five" manga. I fail. But I like it. We are an amazing trio of friends, and I liked doodling this.

I'm not even going to explain the first failed attempt thingy. The bottom black spider is my attempt at drawing a monster from my rps with Anon. She also made a comment on msn that "we should all just be fungi and decompose each other"... so I drew us two as fungi thingies there in the middle?

I like the fungi us and the spider : D Weee!

Sorry I didn't post before, but a friend went kind of missing... and I still haven't learned about her... so yesterday I wasnt in the mood. At all.

I'm still... eerk...


The big weird thing at the right is what I was drawing when my friend Patrick was showing off his awesome new mixer and made music. Too bad you can't see the fainter hair lines, and its completely random. It was going to be better but meh... Plus, some genderbent nali at the top left.

Today I drew two male Citlali heads. That's it.

The bracket line comes from me narrating to my friend Mabel about a weird dream I had.

Anyways, before you guys look at the sketches for today, I want to say something: all of them are WWP related. Why? Because it is what is inspiring me right now.  Currently, I have so much schoolwork I find myself a bit more dull then usual - and this project and other people's ideas are inspiring me. So I'm going to take advantage of that to draw, and draw... etc. But also, I really love the WWP and SD characters.

Here is to today's sketch:



At the top left corner you have Mr. Lawng, the sadistic chinese dragon math teacher, and his genderbent version. I created this character with my friend Patrick, so he also owns this dude. He suggested Mr. Lawng became Ms. Lawng, but I decided not to. Instead, I genderbent him for one time only : D Who else has genderbent a teacher?

You move farther right, and you get Sekhmet, my lovely war-goddess lioness. I tried one drunk picture, since the only thing that can stop her is alcohol. Seriously, she has a weakness for it: she loves it, and will drink herself into a stupor. Unfortunately, this requires a lot of alcohol : D She is also supposed to be really scary at times, so I hope I succeeded. Yes, that is blood on her lips. (Mabel says she looks cute though...) To the bottom left corner you will find Sek's genderbent version, all angry. She'd be a decent boy, I think : D

Then you have a last minute Citnath or Nali sketch I did last minute. Anon inspired me with this picture, but I'm afraid that I don't have the time to finish it, if I want to write this post.

Alright, next set of sketches. These were done in my Math, Biology and English class.



Yes, on the left are the sketches from yesterday. I kind of like having the full page vs only half of it. Besides that, I'm annoyed at my scanner - it makes things so much lighter, detail is lost. = /

First off, we get to see Nath, who belongs to Anon, as I use him to both try out male anatomy a bit and draw the scar from the rps. I'm pretty happy with it actually. There's Sal, all glaring, etc, who also belongs to Anon. Upper right corner has Kaiser, who belongs to Noir-Cafe, all dolled up since he is pretty "girly"... I don't know what to think of the weird loop thing I did with his hair. I also think I went overboard with the "girliness" but meh. Citlali there is also in full "Veela glam" mode, so she's supposed to look very, very good (as in "hot", "beautiful", "alluring", you pick your word). Finally, I liked how a particular friend was looking today - her haircut and clothes looked good - so I drew the character based on her... well, really it is both. It's both my friend and the character Sonora (nicknamed Son'ra) : D Those little clouds there? They're "dream matter", but I don't feel like explaining that. I already did in the rps anyways.

I'm liking this "draw something good a day" idea, and I like my sketchbook. Fuuun.

By the way, WWP is the Wormwood Project, and that belongs to Tyshea, so go visit her.

So, I've decided to use this livejournal to start making something of a sketchfolder, I guess. I'm going to aim for at least one a day, but you never know...

I'll get around to dumping a bunch of my sketches later, but for now, the one done today of my character Citlali, and somebody else's character Kaiser, from the wonderful world of Salad Days by Tyshea.



Yeah, I'm not used to drawing nudes at all, but I need to learn anatomy more, even if 'lali isn't exactly human.

You know, sometimes I notice details that irritate me a lot.

Quoted from Sci Fi:

"Aang, the title character, the Chosen One who must unite four warring worlds; Sokka, Aang's friend; and Katara, Sokka's sister. "

From what I have seen of the series (all of it), Katara plays a far more influential role. It makes more sense to put "Katara, Aang's friend; and Sokka, Katara's sister" than "Sokka, Aang's friend; and Katara, Sokka's sister." Or even better, just put "Katara and Sokka, Aang's friends" or even just "Sokka and Katara, Aang's friends". I don't even know when Katara became "Sokka's sister". I was under the impression that the fandom first thought of "Sokka, Katara's brother" than the opposite. Who influences Aang the most, anyways? (Not just as the love interest?). Katara becomes his waterbending teacher! Sokka is... the non-bending friend who makes bad jokes and loves meat (manly manly man XD suuure), and sometimes comes up with good plans. I love Sokka, but I find it really weird that it was phrased that way in the article. Since the writer is somebody who apparently didn't watch the show, it makes sense though - the default in society is that the guy is the center character, the girls are "the girlfriend" or in this case, "the sister".

It just really irritating, especially since Katara is so kickass.
